The New Paltz Garden Club is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to beautifying our community, sharing knowledge, plants, and friendship since 1946.
Our yearly calendar includes programs such as lectures, trips, demonstrations, workshops, flower shows, plant swap, garden tours, and Table Carousel. Active members maintain three public gardens throughout New Paltz, NY and flower tubs at the New York State Thruway.
The club gives a $500 scholarship each year to a graduating New Paltz High School senior who is pursuing a college degree in Horticulture or Environmental Science.
Each year, we also give civic beautification awards to local businesses and support other community endeavors.
The New Paltz Garden Club has received many awards for our support of World Gardening (also known as "Water for South Sudan" and the new project "Dig Deep", helping Navajo's get fresh water)
