75 Years of Beautifying Our Community
The New Paltz Garden Club is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to beautifying our community, sharing knowledge, plants, and friendship since 1946.

Our yearly calendar includes programs such as lectures, trips, demonstrations, workshops, flower shows, plant swap, garden tours, and Table Carousel. Active members maintain three public gardens throughout New Paltz, NY and flower tubs at the New York State Thruway.

We support Family of New Paltz, donate books to the Elting Library and the Gardiner Library.

The club gives a $500 scholarship each year to a graduating New Paltz High School senior who is pursuing a college degree in Horticulture or Environmental Science.

Each year, we also give civic beautification awards to local businesses and support other community endeavors.

The New Paltz Garden Club has received many awards for our support of World Gardening (also known as "Water for South Sudan" and the new project "Dig Deep", helping Navajo's get fresh water)

JOIN OUR FRIENDLY AND PRODUCTIVE GROUP!

Interested persons can become active members after attending two regular meetings.

Annual dues for active membership are $25. Members serve on one hospitality committee each year and are scheduled to work in one of the gardens we maintain throughout New Paltz.
